Can I get multiples of my basic pledge?

Yes, by pledging an additional amount equal to the base House Guest, Littling, or Mouse Rider pledge level you will receive another copy of the base game and all associated stretch goals.

Can I get this game in a different language?

No. This Kickstarter is only for the English and Italian version of the RPG. The language will be selected on the pledge manager. Versions in other languages will be up to our international partners, and so are not part of this campaign.

When can I pay for shipping?

We will be charging shipping via our pledge manager. The Pledge Manager normally becomes live about 2-3 months after the campaign ends.

How do I buy the optional buys?

  1. Go to ‘Manage your Pledge’
  2. Click on ‘Change your Pledge’
  3. Confirm your Pledge Level (or adjust to a different pledge) and amount pledged.
  4. You’ll be directed to a ‘Confirm reward’ page. There, you will be able to select the available Optional Buys as well as any additional value you’d like to add to your pledge.
  5. Click on ‘Continue’ towards the bottom of the page.

After the campaign ends and the Pledge Manager becomes live where your chosen Optional Buys will already be selected. You’ll be able to edit your pledge to use your available funds however you want. Please note that you need to have a base pledge to be able to select Optional Buys.

Can I get just an Optional Buy?

No, you will need to have a base pledge in order to be able to add any Optional Buys to it.

Are the figures needed to play Household?

Using minis is not required to play Household, but we’re sure that having a life size figure of a Littling will enhance your experience!

Household figures are around 32mm.

Household is the first “Favored by Fortune” role-playing game, meaning it’s based on Broken Compass’ Fortune System.

What are the refund policies for this project?

We can refund you within 14 days of the campaign’s end, fees included. After that, we have a policy of no questions asked, though that’s minus Kickstarter and payment processing fees (10% - which we can’t get back from them after 14 days) until the pledge manager deadline. After the deadline, we may, at our sole discretion, refund and/or provide credit against future Kickstarter campaigns, in whole or in part (less 17.5% for expenses), upon request. This Kickstarter refund policy is subject to change without notice, and may be revised from time to time.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
